Start with its base value
The starting award depends on the fish: bluegill begins at 85 points and lake sturgeon reaches 720, with twelve species between them.
GOLDEN CURRENT / READ THE RIVER, CHOOSE THE DROP
Six hook drops make one short voyage. Let the boat travel, watch the changing school and choose the moments that bring them into line. Turevakoni pairs the original Golden Current game with a detailed guide to its catches.

Make a drop through the hook button, the water surface or Space or Enter when no input or button is focused. Wait for the action to resolve before judging the next gap.
Complete the six attempts, open SAVE LOCAL SCORE and confirm with SAVE to enter the result for this browser’s five-place board.
The starting award depends on the fish: bluegill begins at 85 points and lake sturgeon reaches 720, with twelve species between them.
Perfect alignment contributes an 80-point accuracy award; increasing the distance reduces that addition while the catch remains within range.
Each further catch in an unbroken sequence raises its bonus by 26, up to 130. Missing a drop ends that sequence.
FOLLOW A DROP FROM CHOICE TO RESULT
Golden Current checks the closest fish when the hook resolves. A catch requires a gap of no more than ten lane units, so pay attention to the nearest position under the moving boat rather than choosing a target from its directory picture.
Allow the boat to find its own path across the lane. You choose the drop timing, without adding a steering movement.
A cast holds the boat briefly while the 880-millisecond hook action completes. Read the water again after that result settles.
Better alignment increases accuracy points, and successive catches build the sequence award. One unsuccessful attempt restarts the sequence from its beginning.
FROM BLUEGILL TO LAKE STURGEON
Meet the fourteen species through individual specimen pages, then compare their base values with what appears during play. The directory describes the original game’s catch list, with new artwork for this edition.
Fourteen fish to inspect
Start with the familiar shapes.

A deep, rounded profile with a blue-green head.

Copper-orange markings across a rounded sunfish body.

Dark, irregular markings interrupt this fish’s pale silver flank.

Orderly dark stripes interrupt a warm yellow flank.
More variety across the lane.

Bright speckles and warm lower fins stand against a darker back.

Pink along the flank, silver beneath the spots.

A broad head and long barbels distinguish the smooth grey profile.

A compact bronze shape with a clearly defined jaw.

A broad mouth leads into an olive flank crossed by a dark band.

An olive-gold profile beneath a pointed dorsal fin.
Watch for a distinctive silhouette.

A narrow, elongated predator with pale spots along its green sides.

A narrow predator distinguished by its darker side pattern.

Warm metallic scales make this rare-group specimen immediately distinctive.

FIVE SAVED RESULTS ON THIS DEVICE
When a voyage is complete, use its SAVE flow to submit a local result. The game retains the best five saved totals here, alongside the chosen player name, catch count and recorded time.
That five-place board is confined to this browser and site origin. It has no signed-in profile or shared online standings. Another browser holds its own records, and clearing the stored site data removes this copy.
Open your boat board ↗
Before dropping, notice which way the boat is travelling and how quickly the nearest gap is closing. On the following voyage, compare that timing decision alongside the total rather than judging improvement by points alone.
A SHORT FICTIONAL RIVER VOYAGE
The points belong to a fictional browser game with no purchases, deposits or cash rewards. These pages explain its controls, specimen artwork and local records; they provide no advice about catching or handling real fish.
If an input fails, describe the page, browser and last action in a contact message. The form opens an email draft for your inspection; you decide whether to send it through your mail application.
ANSWERS BEFORE YOUR NEXT DROP
The navigation leads to a casting walkthrough and a worked scoring explanation when you want more detail before the next voyage.
Loading the original game starts the boat’s automatic movement. Choose the hook button or water surface to drop, or use Space or Enter while focus is outside the game’s inputs and buttons.
A single voyage has no guaranteed species mix. Every spawn uses the original tier choices: 48% common, 40% middle, 10% rare and 2% trophy. Those probabilities describe individual selections, not a fixed allotment of catches per round.
The sixth attempt closes the voyage. Select SAVE LOCAL SCORE, enter the name you want beside the result and confirm SAVE. Only the five highest saved totals are retained by the original local board.
No steering input is needed or provided. The boat travels on its own and holds position briefly during a cast. Turevakoni retains that original behaviour without adding a separate pause or replacing the supplied controls.
Saved results remain in this browser’s storage for Turevakoni. They are not submitted to a public ranking, attached to an online account or synchronised with another device.
